In 2012, there are six start groups, to which the runners are divided based on the estimated running time the runner has announced with the registration:

3 PM numbers 1-2499

3.10 PM numbers 2500-4999

3.20 PM numbers 5000-7499

3.30 PM numbers 7500-10499

3.45 PM numbers 10500-13499

3.55 PM numbers 13500-16499

4.05 PM numbers 16500-19999

If the runner has not told his/her running number, he/she has been put to the last start group.
